Fried Dumplings Soavegel
200 g buffalo mozzarella (or fior di latte mozzarella)
100 g of prosciutto ham
Cherry tomatoes (to taste, for garnish)
Fresh basil (to taste)
Extra virgin olive oil q.b.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation
Cooking fried gnocchi:
Cook fried gnocchi according to the instructions on the package (usually in the oven or fryer) until golden and crispy.
Preparing the filling:
While the gnocchi are cooking, cut the mozzarella into slices or cubes and prepare the prosciutto in strips.
Assembly:
Once the fried gnocchi are ready, open them in half (or leave them whole if you prefer) and stuff them with slices of mozzarella and prosciutto. Also add halved cherry tomatoes and some fresh basil leaves.
Seasoning:
Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
