  • 200 g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

  • 50 g of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon of water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Preparation

  1. Baking Panzerottini:
    Thaw the Panzerottini for 10 min at room temperature. Bake the Panzerottini in a preheated oven (200°C) for about 8 min.

  2. Assembly:
    Wash the berries and dry them lightly. In a small saucepan, combine the berries, sugar, lemon juice and water.

  3. Cooking:
    Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring gently until the fruits soften and release their juices.

  1. Thickening (optional):
    For a thicker sauce, dissolve cornstarch in a tablespoon of cold water and add it to the saucepan. Stir until desired consistency is reached.

    Allow the sauce to cool slightly before serving.
